2. Click "USB Data Cable for EVAFone Driver Setup" on the menu at the CDROM

4. After the USB driver is installed, boot the computer
5. Then after booting, select Start-> Settings-> Control Panel-> System ->
Hardware -> Device Manager -> Ports (COM & LPT) -> USB DATA CABLE
(COM1)
6. Check the USB Data Cable will be installed on the COM how? whether the COM1 or
COM2 or COM3?

2. Then press the red button until the text reads "DATA ONLY"
3. Install the modem drivers for Kyocera EVAFone
4. Click "Setup Modem Driver for Kyocera EVAfone"
5. Modem drivers will be installed on drive C: \ Kyocera Modem

6. Click on Start-> Settings-> Control Panel-> Phone and Modem Options
7. Select Modem and Add
8. Select the box Do not detect my modem; I will select from a list and then
Click Next

9. Select Manufacturer: Kyocera Wireless Corp. and Select models: Kyocera High -
Speed CDMA Wireless Modem and then Click Next
10. Then Click Continue Anyway and Click Finish
11. To check the modem driver installed properly, select the Modems
> Properties-> Diagnostics-> Query Modem will be visible code
the command and response fields.
12. If no response back from the modem then check the USB driver installation and
data cable, EVAFone can be turned off and switch it on again and do ranging from
no. 1
13. After that you can continue to set up Dial Up Networking.
